Insurance Carriers

We accept most all insurances issued in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. New Hampshire clinicians are not eligible to participate with MassHealth and HMO Blue of Mass. We are happy to answer any questions you have regarding compatible insurance. To avoid confusion though, we recommend that you use your insurer's website or phone representatives to obtain current information about providers ID numbers as well as your coverage for types of visits and requirements for referrals.

Hospital Affiliations

David Fredenburg MD PA opened in July 1997 as a private pediatric practice, affiliated with Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and Saint Joseph Hospital. Currently patients seen at Southern NH Medical Center are admitted and followed by hospitalists/neonatalogists at the hospital. A hospitalist is always available in house at the hospital and readily available to attend deliveries or emergency room patients. Inpatients at other hospitals are seen by on call pediatricians at each of those hospitals. Outpatient studies, including radiology and laboratory can be completed at either center (as well as other medical centers that may be closer to your home), referrals for general specialists is also available at either location.

Pediatric subspecialty physicians are most frequently out of the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, some specialty clinics are also available with their physicians in Nashua and Manchester.  We also commonly use Boston Children's Hospital as well for referrals requiring pediatric expertise.  Other hospitals where are patients are seen with any frequency include Mass General, Tufts Medical Center, Elliott Hospital and Concord Hospital. We do not have a preferred location where we expect patient's or their families to be followed, rather we recommend specialists generally by the satisfaction they offer patients in their evaluations, their ability to communicate effectively both with the patient and family as well as with the primary office, and availability and convenience of getting access to the specialist initially and in follow-up.
